These Privacy Policy and Terms of Use are effective as of March 31, 2023.

Linda has held various roles in her career including bookkeeper, executive assistant, logistics manager, and purchasing agent. She enjoys being busy, learning new skills, and feeling that sense of accomplishment when finishing challenging projects. She also loves working with all of her co-workers.

On her days off, Linda loves spending time with her family, gardening, hiking, and making pottery.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Earth Science and a minor in Paleontology, Bianca has gained extensive experience in a diverse range of roles in agriculture, farming, and parks management, including 10+ years of project management.

Bianca particularly enjoys creating company manuals and policies for human resources, training, and safety. The sense of accomplishment that comes with closing a set of books and helping others with their IT issues lights her up. 

A food and beer enthusiast, when Bianca isn’t working, you’ll find her traveling, playing with her cats, working on DIY home projects, or looking for treasures at thrift stores. Originally a California native, Bianca currently resides in Michigan.

Emma has ten years of experience with bookkeeping and accounting in a variety of settings, including small businesses, startups, and multi-million-dollar corporations across many different industries such as alcohol and spirits, construction, retail, and manufacturing.

Things she loves about her job include her coworkers, solving bookkeeping puzzles, and the sense of accomplishment that comes with closing a set of books. Emma is also an accomplished musician with a degree in biology. 

When she’s not in the office, you’ll find Emma in Los Angeles spending time with her partner and family, playing music, and going on walks with her dog Flapjack.

With a decade of experience in the accounting industry, Angela has worked with businesses across various sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, and publishing. She is passionate about working collaboratively with both clients and teams, whether it involves exploring new software to enhance processes, closing a set of books, or utilizing her problem-solving skills to find the best solutions.

During her free time, Angela enjoys cooking, exploring new restaurants with her husband, gardening, traveling, and taking her corgi to the beach. She currently resides with her husband in San Francisco, where she enjoys being close to various entertainment options such as museums, theaters, live music, and diverse restaurants.

For over 35 years, Andrea has done bookkeeping and accounting work, including owing and operating several businesses. She has experience in many industries, which gives her a unique perspective when working with our clients and our team. Training internal and client staff, putting out fires, and organizing clients are some of her favorite things!

In her free time, you’ll find Andrea camping, skiing, kayaking, or hiking with her three adorable dogs or spending time with her seven grandkids at big family events (another love of hers!). 

Jolié joined Abilene West in 2021 to provide controllership and CFO services for multiple clients. Since then, she has taken on a leadership role in operations and staff training. With over 30 years experience in finance, Jolie’ has held numerous leadership position including Controller, Associate VP of Finance, CFO. She also has experience in non-profit higher education and information technology. 

Some of the daily activities Jolié enjoys the most include completing difficult reconciliations, streamlining processes to improve workflows, and working with a team of professionals she adores. 

An avid reader, Jolié enjoys up to 50 books a year in all genres. She also paints and has sung in and directed small musical theater groups. Family is a top priority for Jolié, and when she isn’t working, you’ll likely find her spending time with her husband, her children, and her grandchild.

Patricia is the owner of Abilene West, where she takes pleasure in supporting clients’ visions and objectives while collaborating with the exceptional team at Abilene West. She began her career as an accountant in the audit department at KPMG and later moved to international internal audit with Warner-Lambert (Pfizer).

After traveling for years, Patricia relocated to California to pursue a master’s degree in psychology and her passion for personal growth. During this time, she discovered her niche while working in a tax position at a small CPA firm, where she enjoyed working with entrepreneurs. Patricia spent 15 years providing tax, controllership, and consulting services to local CPA firms before starting her own firm.

Patricia possesses over 30 years of accounting experience, a master’s degree in counseling psychology, and certifications as a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach and a neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) practitioner. She has coached business owners and their teams for more than eight years and can assist her clients in achieving their goals, regardless of their aspirations, by using NLP in her services. When Patricia is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, learning to play the piano, and connecting with other fantastic individuals. She also stays active in her local community by serving as Treasurer and chairing the finance committee at Summerfield Waldorf School and Farm.
